Illumine is a worship gathering designed to lead people through a time
of spiritual discovery by engaging the mind as well as the senses.
In a culture that is rapidly changing, many considered to be among
emergent/postmodern generations have felt a disconnect with God and
modern church services. Illumine strives to go beyond the norms to
share the message of God's love and vision for this world with a new
generation of followers. This often includes new and even ancient
practices of worshipping and connecting with God. Illumine gatherings
also value organic and communal experience, and each gathering is
uniquely planned to facilitate a specific theme.
Opportunities for Involvement:
- Become a part of a planning team. Each gathering is planned by a group of people who desire to think "outside the box" when it comes to worshiping God.
- Offer up your gifts and talents to be used during the gathering. If you are a musician, artist, dancer, poet, songwriter, actor, singer, designer, or have any other talents that could be used, then please let DJ Vila know you are interested.
- Finally you can participate in the gathering and bring your friends, family, or co-workers to share in this experience.
