JASON ISBELL | Children and Student Minister & Coordinator of Technology
About Us
Jason has been the youth minister at the Manhattan Church of Christ for ten years. For five of those years Jason also served as the Camp Director and Teen Mentoring Program leader for Shiloh, a not-for-profit Christian organization committed to equipping at-risk youth with tools to build hope by teaching, mentoring, and befriending them to promote their spiritual, mental, and emotional growth.
In 2004 Jason became the full-time youth minister and minister of technologies at Manhattan. During that time Jason helped oversee and guide the growing youth group as well as MCOC’s communication and online presence.
In February of 2010 Jason became the Minister to Children and Students with responsibilities focusing on shaping and educating young children through teenagers in the Christian faith.
Jason received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Abilene Christian University in 1997, and served for one year as a youth intern at the Preston Road Church of Christ in Dallas, Texas. On April 18, 1998 he married Allison (Rector) Isbell and together they have two children Levi and Zeke. Allison is a learning specialist for a private school with a Master’s degree from Bank Street College. Jason loves music, playing the guitar, current events, golf, movies, being a dad, and taking full advantage of the benefits raising a family in New York City. |
