About Us
Hylma Blagrove Looney was born in London, England. She and her family moved to New York a number of years ago. She attended CUNY University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. She has worked in the corporate world but has come to realize that working for her home church – Manhattan Church of Christ – she would be able to contribute and make a difference in the personal lives of others.
She met the love of her life, Jared Looney, during his relocation to the Bronx. The two fell in love and were married August 2002. Her desire is to serve the Lord in whatever capacity available to her and to also help her husband with the new church plant in the Bronx.
